  1. As it says above really, Would you do it yourself or get someone else to do it. Who would you lot recommend there are so many advertising at the mo it gets abit overwelming. The people who have website whats the rough costs for someone else to do it??? eerrrmmmmm think that's it for now
  2. I have tried the synthetic rope it is very good lighter and easier to pull out, but it seemed not to last long. After a week pulling over trees dragging them it had to be shortened abit.

  4. I found that it does supple up after abit but it is very stiff to begin with, I think it is very heat resistant so if would burn out your rope quicker if decending fast.
  5. Our council are giving away thousands of free trees in our area as a get public involed, they give you info how to look after them all sorts.

  8. I would mix both softwood and hardwood as people have said they all burn well when dry. When i lived in sweden we burn pine and birch all burnt well and very hot, especially in the saunas too. Keep options open and educate yourself and people better, SOFTWOOD GOOD, UNEDUCATED PEOPLE BAD
  9. I would say the local authority they have taken the money off them surely it should be in there price. If it's you surely it would cost you more and therefore your day rate goes up.
  10. I would have one that provides good after sales service and the closest for parts and services. I have mainly used greenmech and had no problem with them top machine and a great bunch of people.

  14. As you have most of them already (you can grind the scrapers to any shape) i Would buy a 3/8 and 1/2 bowl gouge fingernail and a 3/8 spindle gauge fingernail, 1/16 parting tool it good too. Look at robert sorby. From the top 1/2" bowl gauge, 3/8 Bowl gauge (both fingernail), Scraper, Roughing gouge, Scraper, Parting tool, Scraper, Spindle gauge 3/8" fingernail, Spindle gauge 3/8 standard, Little one on side is a parting tool. The square end scraper is for doing bottom of boxes, the round one is bowls and the angled one I use foe anything really V cuts, Good foe around curves.
