  1. So why did you fail ???? why didn't the assessor let you fell one more tree??? Seems like the courses are getting easier IMO, when i'd done my course i done 1 straight fell, 2 danish and 2 dog tooth cuts all snedded and brash stacked into habitat piles. Then got told to fell more trees until the others are finished and leave them for other people to learn how to sned and stack.
  2. Get you assessed again??? or just fell a few trees and pass, Wrong for them to say we will get you passed. What if it goes wrong again you should have at least half to 3/4 of a day felling not just a few trees. If i was an assessor ooohhh hard times
  3. ovoiusly it wasn't your time, get more practice in and take your time because an assessor is in a hurry doesn't mean you have to be. The assessor is also wrong for not letting you have breaks when needed as there is a fine line when your diabetic, i personally would have gone for a break and told him. Good luck for next time and take it easy:001_smile:
  4. I left it on right to the end but just didn't look right, maybe if i had done it in two halfs with waney edge on both sides but just looked odd.
  5. Nice tight joints on top doesn't go anywhere, doesn't need a support underneath.

  12. He's a sprocker dean do you clip them yourself or someone else ??? I can do a 0.5 all over, as yes he has an impressive set of spuds.

  14. He is very mental loves everyone took him for a 2hr run up the local hill at 6 this morning. Still full of energy tho
  15. I always thought it was a certain amount of miles or time eg. years as it can still perish.
  16. here goes he had steak for dinner, now fast asleep with i full stomach.
  17. You should have charged for a survey and then quoted the work, just learn from it and do it next time.
  18. Table is on a go slow as doing fire place and sorting other bits and bobs out
  19. Here's some pics of a fire place i done for a mate made out of spalted beech and finished with danish oil. It needs one last sand and several more coats of oil before i'm happy.
