  1. I couldn't give a hoot about Sunak, Starmer or any of the corporate goons who play politics in this day and age getting slated by people. I do think it's important to point out when people are being blatantly mugged off. I thought you had a similar mindset seeing as you were right about COVID.
  2. My mate had a Bengal cat that ran like a monkey.

  4. Sunak's family firm signs billion-dollar deal with BP WWW.THELONDONECONOMIC.COM The CEO of one of Infosys' other major clients, Shell, also joined Rishi Sunak's new business council two weeks ago.
  5. It can't be a bad thing, a guy I used to work with had a stumpgrinder turn on him and he made an astonishing recovery. Perhaps put a warning before you post images in case people would rather not see the reality of things. Good luck with your recovery mate.
  6. Perhaps they were on a joyride.
  7. Labour lost my vote some time ago. I suspect he'll get voted in because you'd have to be a mug to vote for the current government again.
  8. Aye but the climate emergency is an actual threat to us all, unlike COVID, which would have been far less damaging to the economy if we had decent politicians in charge. Did the Tories ever hand over Boris's WhatsApp messages? I reckon they were mocking us.

  11. Steady US support gives Israel ‘cover’ to attack Jenin: Analysts WWW.ALJAZEERA.COM Biden administration’s unconditional backing emboldens escalating Israeli violence against Palestinians, experts say.
  12. Until sensible greens like they have in Bavaria get in, we're ****************ed.
  13. Not a good situation then.
  14. It's a global business, they'll always want the cheapest option. In local terms, I agree that the kit should have been built here, shameful really given the engineering heritage in the NE .My mate has just been up here doing an offshore turbine repair course, it sounds like there'll be some good opportunities for locals to make some money, if that's their kind of thing.
  15. Do you reckon the offshore wind-sector will be good for the NE of England in terms of jobs? I've heard that that windfarm they're building off the coast of Shields could become a bit like Nissan was - Everyone knew someone who worked for Nissan. Do you think an Independent Scotland would go for more or less new oil projects?

  17. Meet the new boss, he's the same as the old boss... Politicians and members of the media rub shoulders at Murdoch annual party WWW.STANDARD.CO.UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer were among those attending the event at Spencer House in London on Thursday.
  18. The 'opposition' are very much Tories in red ties.
  19. I prefer to think of it as some kind of weird, black mass sponsored by the practitioners themselves.
  20. Palantir deals with mega UK health service top £60M • The Register WWW.THEREGISTER.COM Latest £24.9M 'transition' contract an attempt to bridge gap to contract UK.gov is due to award in September
  21. I looked into 'Northern Lights', I bet you're giggling away in your Tesla . What do you need to be qualified in in order to really cash it in on offshore work? I met an 22 year old Norwegian valve specialist when I was in Thailand with my lass in 2002 and he was drawing a fair sum for a 4/3 or similar rota.
  22. "Everything changes but it all stays the same" used to be the tune, now they've been blatantly shown to be even worse by mocking us all; I had to watch a webcast of my mate's Dad's funeral and couldn't be there to support her while those scuzzbuckets were just getting hammered and telling us what to do. Absolute shitehawks they are. **************** those people and **************** Starmer and his Blair lookalike party too. I hope you have a good weekend.
  23. Not today but relevant. Boris Johnson 'joked he was at most unsocially distanced party in UK' during No 10 lockdown party NEWS.SKY.COM The former prime minister is facing an investigation into whether he misled MPs when he told the Commons he believed he... @Johnsond you're right, they were mugging us off at the time.
  24. I know that one all too well. It can be the case that there's a reason why depression hits harder when things are seemingly going well. Have you thought about finding a therapist to talk with, you may have to try a couple before you find one that works or you might get lucky first time. You'll have to go private as waiting lists are joke for NHS treatment. Keep going though, there's always light at the end of the tunnel no matter how long and dark it may seem. Get in touch anytime you like mate.
