  1. sorry marc i cant picture what your saying. the isc and petzl pullys are pretty much identical apart from the petzl one has bearings
  2. the way ive set it up means its retrieveable.is that the petzl pully. the one in my picture is made by isc. i use the petzl one to advance my friction hitch

  8. yeah, based about 5 miles away.
  9. on a smaller tree i would, but it provided a sense of security when i was chogging it down,it was in a woodland just on the outskirts of the forest
  10. yeah its massive,nearly 4 ft at the base. thats the first one, there was another, slightly smaller coming down next to it to, il put up some more pics

  15. sticky gloves 50p a pair, if i get through a pair a day im not really that botherd
  16. like i said in the one handed saw use thread we all do a job that is alot to do with educated risks.why put yourself in the situation where you could cut yourself. i use a saw one handed in the right situation, there is really no need to wear arm protectionj, and if you think there is you should probably think about your work practices.

  18. it depends on the tree, but on big take downs i tend to leave a peg, not so much to tand on but for something for my strop to sit on top of

  21. hi there matt. i contract to the guy who sells them. rob dyer. if you were at the apf last year and the aa the last 2 years you would have seen us there.there arnt any courses available but ill happillly answer any questions you might have john
  22. dependant on how big the tree is and how bigger blocks im taking off il get a felling bar with a chainsaw strop on it sent up
