  1. What resort do you stay at mate? as for tree work , they deserve an award for some of the worst i've ever seen, flush cuts , tears, you name it....
  2. To behonest I thought it was rather expensive, mind you the pound is crud against the Euro, nice place though you wouldn't be disapointed with the island, weather or the food etc
  3. extreme topping, in Jandia nice resort south of the island
  4. Palms everywhere very few trees, only the odd Euc or scraggy little pine
  5. tree work gang, Porto del Rosario the capital, no chipper but a truck with hi-ab the hia-ab had a huge rake like attachment used for squashing down the brush/clippings..

  8. a few more fishy pics, me and a few kilos of fish caught from the rocks, snapper, bream, trevelly, bogga [small sardine like fish] my son with a 12lb tuna caught live baiting under a balloon aboard the ''Albakora Cat'' Caleta de Fuste Fuerteventura Canary Islands
  9. I gave it to the skipper, they'll steak it up and turn the head into soup etc etc...
  10. Yeah not a bad fish mate, but heres a little something from yesterday morning, been in Fuertaventura for the past 2 weeks... 92lb Amberjack.........

  13. people don´t seem to burn coal these days, mix any wood with a skuttle full of coal and it will burn a treat

    Tragic thats all I can say, but i´ve got to agree with Andy and Dave, i´m also wondering if employers are pushing men harder due to the economic climate or using cheaper newly trained greenhorns rather than more experienced and more expensive proffesionals.. Damn shame all the same......
