  2. She looks like a solid truck mate , I doubt she'll let you down, those Jap engines run and run.. I like the body design, IF I ever bought another truck I think i'd go with a open tailgate/rear like you have
  3. Ok folks remember the meeting place is at the MAIN GATE I can be contacted on 07790 834359
  4. nice truck

    Day Rate

I had 'me' a damn good subbie, and a sometimes mummy's boy, that day the mummy 's boy for once pulled his finger out , might have been the promise of a £50 bonus................

    Day Rate

Not bad , but i've doubled that on a road side job with 3 men..... At the end of the month we still only broke even lol
  14. In the coming months/years you'll be able to get good blokes at 2 for a £1 in a figure of speech, and they'll be pleased of the money............. Mummy's boys, clueless wonders will have to eat bread and pull it lol
  15. The truth is a lot of blokes aren't worth £20 a day! damn pleased I don't employ anyone these days, most of my employees spent more time standing around watching me work , with a big gormless look on there face and there hands in their pockets. I've seen the same thing with other firms as well, it wouldn't make a jot of difference regarding productivity if they were paid 1.50 a day or 150, roll on the recession............ Sorry to go off topic..
  16. My boy boxes, hes 14 and reckons he could take De La Hoya if he was an adult..... nothing like self belief lol

  19. I'll put your name down for you Log.....
  20. Well mate all I can say is this ''a greedy man is easy ripped'' [old conmans saying] anyone who thinks he can get two 395's for £400 is a mug or he thinks hes buying knock-off, I have no sympathy... Just like those folk who think they're getting a bargain 42'' plasma HD tv for £100 only to find its a con, tough lucks all I have to say
  21. Attention to detail mate, please! Showmen pay the local council a very large sum of money a bond to set up a fair, the Showmen rely on this council/showmen mutual co-operation, ie they want repeat business, Showmen rarely leave tyre marks let alone rubbish and mess, if they left so much mess we wouldn't have the same Showmen/Fairground turn up to the same place year in year out, some fairs such as the Goose fair have been going for decades.. Sorry to sound like i'm having a rant but, if I were a Showmen i'd hate to be tarred with leaving rubbish and of being theives.. The Showmens Guild http://www.showmensguild.com/
  22. Yes mate we know the company
  23. though there are soil vacs on the market that are used in conjunction with soil-picks/air-spades, about 35k for the basic model
  24. no such thing on the market, if there was i'd own one.
