  8. I've had a fair amount of dealings with B-trac, who I take are now Vermeer UK, I can only say they gave me the best in service..

Braid is the way to go mate, you want low pressure and a real crappy day to find the mother of that 8lb'er, my best pike weighed in at 14lb I caught it on a tiny 6' spining rod, and small reel, on a realy cold day, snowing the lot, the best thing was I caught the fish on a home made spinner ....

  18. Maybe not , but would it harm them if you did? do children these days not need to appreciate the simpler things in life [i'm talking about my kids too], imo if you can't/don't appreciate the simple things you'll never appreciate the finer things life has to offer..

Starting at 12 years old, day in day out week in week out , my old man used to look after some blokes pigs, probably a smallholder, he used to cut up old tyres with an old suger beat knife, use the cut bits of tyres to get a fire going, he'd the get a big old copper on the boil and cook up a load of old feed spuds, rain , shine, frost, snow, those pigs got fed, he was as said 12 years old, I can tell tales regarding old country farming people that would make the young of todays hair stand on end....how things have changed from his generations day, if we ever get invaded I think I'll just surrender, can't see this generation being up to much, not exactly got the Dunkirk spirit... Do you know London buses didn't even stop when Fritz was blitzing London , in WW2, I bet those old dead bus drivers are turning in there graves today!

  25. I wouldn't buy kit from a dealer/contractor, for one I see a conflict of interest and IMO you're either one thing or another, when I buy kit I want to buy it from , a professional equipment dealer, not a fly -by -night..........
