Yeah big waste of time, better off cultivating whats already native and present, foreign strains of fungi , lead me to thinking about Cane toads, and all other introduced blunders ... And an absolute waste of time adding endomychorrizas , research has shown endomychorrizas cannot be cultivated from spore.....

Mate I've had years in this game , if you start now you will only become frustrated, you'll never be as quick and agile as a youngster, groundwork is hard too, more so than climbing, i've seen plenty of new older climbers, i'm sorry to say I wouldn't employ them, speed equals £'s in this game, hard facts i'm affraid.... You could however set-up on your own and combine a little woodland work , with the odd days climbing, hedge cutting, etc, the money would be pretty poor though, money isn't very good in this game.......

Whats that got to do with the price of chips? farm to base 50 miles , means nothing , all it means is you can get away a '' restricted operators license'' you still need an o license if you drive anything over 3.5 ton, how far you travel doesn't matter, I have an o licence................

I agree, with the £1500 or so quid you'd have used for the conversion ,go and buy the best small truck on the road a Nissan Cabstar, any age as long as its diesel bomb proof!

Spot on, I have two and they didn't cost anywhere near £500, used hard they heat the clutch and bar up, last resort and big money thats my motto with TC chains
