  2. I was thinking exactly the same
  3. I take all these big day rates with a pinch of salt, infact i'd go as far to say most are BS!
  4. Did you recycle the cuttings?
  5. I bet you two wish you'd felled that butt onto bearers lol, nicely done job though
  6. Horsey folk love wood chip
  7. 2.40am and running like clock work
  8. We carry out this type of work for anyone and everyone, we've worked for little old ladys through to the National Trust, as for prices , lets put it this way its not that painfull, for exact pricing i'd have to pm you. Now about the above work, i'm not going to sit here and say my fert and decompaction will be a cure all, IMO if the trees had a fert and decompaction program a few years back, they MIGHT not be in the condition they are in now,i'm all for prevention rather than cure! What i'm suggesting is ,give the trees a chance before bringing in the chainsaws, ''a 100 year old tree takes 100 years to grow'' I personally think if the trees had a fert treatment , we'd see a dramatic improvement. Tony I re-read your post/question, no mate the area at the bottom of the trees aren't sufficent, for fert
  9. Sorry mate, I read the post and quoted before I knew the name.... As you pointed out there would be no human race if we hadn't eaten meat!
  10. Will you put a list of winning numbers and names up as well , i'm off down the pub?
  11. thats good news for us legit blokes, very very good news, not before time I say!
  12. I was referring to the principle of hunting and target practice using a weapon of some kind, sorry I should have spelt it out....
  13. Get a grip man! what do you want to do ban cars, motorbikes, planes at the same time? they kill far more people in the course of a year than a poxy air rifle, if you don't want a gun don't own one, but for us small time field and target shooters leave us alone to do what we've done for hundreds if not thousands of years!
  14. I won't stop air gunning, i've had an air rifle for near on 30 years!
  15. I think Tony has nailed this one
  16. AH right sorry ,no quality issue other than my eyes lol
  17. err no big fine!

  21. BigA found a horseshoe in a stump one day, didn't you Andy! I hate finding carrier bags of dog crap in trees! we reduced a tree on a site once and the local dog owning scum bag must of hurled 30 bags of chit into the tree...
  22. can you get isc wales kit in OZ Jason?
  23. Good post Magnus and I agree with you from start to scrap pile, saying that i'd like to try Aspen on the new saws I buy.. Guys, thoughs of you who don't know Magnus , i'll tell you a bit about him, i'm sure he won't mind, Magnus is an avid saw collector and USER! how many saws do you have now Magnus?,i'm sure they go into the hundreds, any chance of a picture of some of your collection? Basicly i'd be inclined to take notice of Magnus where saws are concerned, i've known him for a number of years, and what he doesn't know about a saw may very well not be worth knowing!
  24. I own a 7900 this saw has no de-compression button, but hell im hard lol, the 7901 has a de-compression button. Iv'e had the 7900 for a couple of years and imo its as good as any of my recent Husky purchases, infact its better as so far it hasn't broken down! and it will push a 26'' bar no problem If I needed a big 90cc saw i'd have no hesitations buying the makita, and this is my honest opinion!
  25. Biggest stock market fall today since 9/11, and thats world wide, the yank stockmarket was closed today public holiday I think, they reckon it will loose 400 points tomorrow!
