  1. You can talk , you live in Cornwall, i've seen some of the herberts that wander around Loo and Liskeard in the winter...
  2. All these silly little hurdles that mount up are put in our way, because the government doesn't want small businesses pure and simple! OOH JUST NOTICED IT'S THE 4TH TODAY, LEZ comes into being!! , google it ''london emission zone''
  3. I've never read anything so pathetic, who the hell are these people, a commitee meeting , how much did that cost I wonder.. Off topic but,I had a similer experience, on a site clearence job a few years ago, when it was still legal to burn on site. We had a ''very small'' and hot fire going on the site, very little smoke, the site was several hundred meters from any houses, we hadn't been feeding the fire for long when a little fat man with clip board and i'd badge came waddling toward us, he said why are you having a fire, I gave him my reasons, he said you know I make you put this fire out right now! Not one for taking BS easily I said oh yeah and how/whys that fires aren't illegal are they? I just could he said! I said mate has anyone complained, he said no!, I said when somebody starts complaining get back to me! now if thats all, i've work to do... Never saw him again, the little jobs worth! again how much did it cost the council tax payer for him to come an visit me? it turned out he'd driven past in the morning, seen the smoke, gone to the office , then later that afternoon decided to come visit the site..
  4. I was thinking the same , mind you Ed does have a 6 wheeler and hi-ab, if I need more kit on sight such as tractor and grapple the price would shoot up as well

  10. mine are an old set that run off of AA batterys
  11. I've got a cheap little BT might even be Binatone set , bigA has the same , kin useless if you ask me, i'd like a good rechargable shock proof and water proof set! To be honest we don't have the need to use them that often and if we ,we use the old mobby!
  12. I'd like to give one a try, but I have a feeling i'd be better off buying a good silky.
  13. I've climbed trees, hired climbers ,good ones and not so good , and let me just say this Tony is dead right no climber is faster than a mewp for blocking down! We'd all like a mewp along with a good hia-ab on a truck , a 12'' chipper, a lorry and a 4x4 pick-up etc etc, the truth is most of us will never be able to afford kit like this, why because we have to many micro companys chasing to little work , and when we do get the work we aren't paid according to our skills [i'd love to know how much a steel erecting company charges per day] As a business owner let me tell you guys , if I had the money i'd have a truck mount tomorrow! Click on any American tree surgery site and see what the yanks think of cherry pickers! and they like them in Europe as well judging by this firm! Rob Treewisemen, you pleased with your cherry picker that cost over 100k US ? silly question really.. http://www.baumpflege-bollmann.de/
  14. It's a case of this mate, one man designs a security system , another man hatches a plan to beat it! and until this poxy government comes down hard on crime, hard working idiots like us will be sitting ducks for theives.
  15. I own a few acres of land but wouldn't put a container on it as Ed says you can be in one in minutes using a mini gas cutting kit.. Sorry to hear about you getting tunrned over Zen, death to theives I say! DEATH!

I dropped a nut a few years ago, got it out with a magnet on a wire gizmo, god help anyone who dropps a blade, cuz they're going to be in for a lot of spanner work! This is by far the biggest design fault on the Timberwolf
