  1. I have a HS 80 trimmer which has a leaking HT, its sealed is a fix possible or is it a new unit? Cheers.
  2. Great stuff Reg.
  3. Warm day Sunday, must have been fun.
  4. Hecks is excellent.
  5. Yeah, love it pull in and the sign says honk for cider.
  6. I'm not really a Cider drinker but this is very good.
  7. Er, this is a job offer announcement not a place for chit chat. Out of respect for the thread starter.
  8. As Tony mentioned, a lot of the US guys are loving HRC hitch cord but we can't get it here. Mate of mine gave me a load of it quite some time ago, none left now though, but somebody in the UK must stock it.
  9. Yeah cheers Nod! Feathered? Took me a while that did, chortle. Rich, I didn't just dipped pulled out and poked a stick in to burst the skin that developed, nasty stuff that Starbright, acetone, methyl ethyl keytone and xylene. Smells good though
  10. Ugly stuff that Starbright.
  11. Thanks chaps, yes Tommy, 10mm AP. Just trying to neatly whip some HRC.
  12. Thought I would try a FS with a stiff eye like some others have on here.
  13. Good question Ross, I was wondering the same myself as I have a couple of largish Beech reductions coming up, in fact I was a little worried until I remembered I've been doing all year round Beech reductions all my career with out any problems.
  14. Hello, this was covered a little here, http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/splicing-forum/22939-marlow-gecko-splice.html It's a 16 strand rope, the core is there to keep a round shape it's the cover that has the strength. I think you may have to take out more cover strands for this rope, I've always found it difficult but more experienced splicers don't seem to have much problem. (Not that I'm a splicer)
  15. I knew it would go down well.
  16. Interesting. YouTube
  17. Classy Mark, proper classy, reminds me of a job in central Bristol from a few years back, a sea of used needles, condoms and sticky mattresses, junkies jacking up in front of us and another taking a dump. Living the dream.
  18. Pictures make the tree look enormous!
  19. Root rape? Is that a technical term? Damage from the court foundations? David, lol.
  20. It coming down Guy?
  21. With the recommended Beeline?
  22. I posted this earlier in the thread.
  23. So you are using Imori when you shouldn't be? I'm telling!
  24. Exactly, that tree was on steep ground so when we felled the trunk it would have no chance of rolling, this was a unnecessary precaution though as the stick was so heavy it stayed still, can't be to careful though, even had a chain around the butt. :]
