  15. Woodlands.co.uk is celebrating the best that the woodland world has to offer with the launch of the annual Woodlands Awards. Wonderful and innovative things are taking place in the woodlands sector all the time. But there has never been an awards scheme that celebrates and gives due recognition to these ventures. Fourteen awards will recognise innovation, enterprise, hard work, talent and woodland wit. We want to see the best blogs, websites and photographs; hear about the most useful tools, buildings and contractors; read recommendations of the best course providers, forest schools and community woodlands. Tell us about your favourite woodland book of the year or the most eye-catching trade stand. There is a category for everyone, whatever their interest or involvement in woodlands. Visit our website Woodlands.co.uk to learn more and to nominate your favourites. This is the first awards scheme that recognises the endeavour of individuals, both amateur and professional. It also acknowledges the vital support of organisations and businesses to woodland owners, workers and enthusiasts. The awards are divided into two groups: awards for individuals (woodland owners and users) and awards for enterprises (woodland organisations, businesses, and educational programmes). Awards for individuals Best Woodland Blogs Best Small Woodland Websites Best Woodland Photography Best Woodland Buildings/Shelters Best Woodland Tools Best Woodland Water Projects Best Whole Wood Owners’ Coordinators Awards for enterprises Best Woodland Contractors Best Forest Schools Best Woodland Courses Best Community Woods Best Woodland Books of the Year Best Woodfair Trade Stands Best Regional and National Woodland Organisations The closing date for entries is 31 July 2017. Prizes, widespread recognition and publicity via the pages of Living Woods Magazine await the winners.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
