Had it on a few occasions when a bunch of ivy had come off and sat straight in top of the zigzag

That happened to me and it did make me lose confidence in it considerably. The zigzag came out shortly after though and I never looked back. You still have to be careful with the zigzag though, specially around ivy

If I know you want a specific colour before I order I can get anything. I generally ordered 100 at a time in one colour but can order one offs. Pink perhaps?

You'll unlikely find a way round it. You need the same license just to park a cherry picker on the road too I believe. We got pulled up on that by the council last year.
