  1. how am i supposed to get sheep in that?
  2. i need a lawnmower, i doubt its geared to go particularly fast anyway
  3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mower-Wolf-Go-Cart-Ride-on-lawnmower-not-a-tractor_W0QQitemZ230155208039QQihZ013QQcategoryZ50377QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  4. i forgot i had a chipper on once and reversed and jack-knifed it. what made it worse was that i had taken a wrong turn and was reversing into a drive on a busy road so i was reversing quick. needed a new draw bar, i was very red faced that day
  5. this is an old one i just dug up, short and sweet http://media.putfile.com/Oak1
  6. like u say, if the blades dont give something sure as hell will!
  7. dont ya love it when people make mistakes on their listing!
  8. sometimes i'll take my hardhat off if im on the ground dicing up a butt or something, but thats only if EVERYTHING is on the deck.....and then i wear safety glasses and ear plugs
  9. you should have certificates lee? you get a certificate with each unit then the card is updated. all my certificates are filed away safe
  10. ed....processors can be fine for surgery waste if you prep your waste on site before it goes back to the yard....ie cut the cords at the bends, anything bigger than 15" ring up so it can go straight in the splitter bay etc. most cutters dont dress stuff up properly and it slows everything down when it comes to processing.
  11. where are you based? business owner??
  12. thanks...i'll look at the attachment thing....it differs with files
  13. untrained will be cheap and you might get lucky, but then if they are good they'll probably move on eventually. i'd personally rather hire trained, you'll have less of a headache and even though they cost you more in wages, they should more than make up for that
  14. matty.....rupe bought a splitter i believe, very reasonably priced with its own engine....i dont know how hes getting on with it but im sure he;d give you an honest report
  15. dont think u can get a new blue book, probably can the cards though
  16. does anyone have a copy of either of these they can post please?
  17. i'd go for an 18-20 ton if i was buying a splitter.
  18. i paid £800 for my tractor matty, and it gives me little trouble. i do about 200ton of logs a year at the moment, with a hakki pilke processor. the processor would be your biggest expense but worth its weight in gold. maybe as mike if he has any trade ins coming...1X47 is what i use, wouldnt recommend going smaller if you dont have to. a circular saw bench is better than nothing and can be had for a few hundred quid but if you're only going to do 20-30 loads in your first year you're probably as well doing it by hand and making a bit more cash
  19. shame about your day tim! haha i was done at 1
