Snatch Block

Hello do you guys think these are any good and up to the job for use with a fransguard 4tonne winch.

I think your winch will distroy it very quickly. You will need something with much heavier duty bearings

Clarke forest did do some heavy duty snatch blocks, but i can not find them.

Should be all right to redirection of cable because there quick to remove from the line. There only should turn slow not the speed a timber winch pulls at.

HI SLACK yes clarke do some good snatch block that one off ebay won't last 5 mins on my winch and thats only 5.5tons :thumbdown:jon

use the all silver ones myself on a 3 ton igland but as said the wont last forever , good for redirection .used them on my high lead , and 2.1 on the chain saw winches to drag the big stuff in . I would be looking at about £ 20 / 30 as 16 Is a bit 2 cheap

there are good and bad points.

best use and work it out for yourself.

there are more pulley blocks out there that are smaller, better and cheaper.
