Pfanner protos climbing helmet

I like mine, not had it long and not had to replace any parts yet which is probably going to cost the earth. Ditto with the ear muffs which i'm sure they'll sort out on the v2. The mesh on it seems finer than the others I have tried but that may just be me.

Where did you find the Bandit chipper with three lovely ladies strapped to it? I've been trying to find a good chipper that is loud with a bit of a wider mouth, always wanting more, needs its oil replacing once a month and has a lovely body. But no luck :(

The protos reminded me of one of those forestry helmets From the 80's where the ear muffs continually fell off offered poor hearing protection overall whilst being sweaty and heavy... but maybe the protos is worse with its quintuple price.

Sorry lads but my experience of this lid is it's like the emperors new clothes, every one raves about it as it has a stupid price tag but the reality is it's crap.

I was sceptical about the protos, but tried one on at the frjones stand during the arb show, and honestly believe the hype it is that good. Needless to say I bought one and still don't regret my decision nothing comes close, the ear defenders aren't the best for sure but it's not gonna be an issue. Hope this helps.
