I'm not 100% sure of this,I'll have to do some research but,I think that (if it is an advisory bay, sometimes called a courtesy bay) then it's non enforcable & anyone can use it.Blue badge holder or not.So your elderly residents could park there.

Is it just a painted marking on the road or is there an accompanying sign on a pole/wall?Can you post a google street view link?

Around here, any blue badge holder (disabled or not) just displays the badge and parks anywhere they want.

Usually on the single yellows.

It is cheaper for them to get a blue badge down the pub rather than pay the residents parking fees each year.

I think the video idea is best. Get him arriving and parking then let him go inside. Then get a genuine disabled person to "turn up" and fill the disabled bay legitimately. Video him coming out in. Full health ranting. Have a group to reason with him. If he is going to keep it up the council will be informed with the eyewitness (video) evidence.

If he behaves leave it at that. If not pursue the slower council route!

front him up about being a dickhead

if the disabled bay is unused tell him to use it

or your going to get the council to remove it

if he reckons he's not disabled enough to use it

give him a good kicking and make him proper disabled

only joking
