I have been asked to thin quite a large Holly tree. Just the thought of doing that is making me feel sick :biggrin: Anyway, I have never in 20 years thinned a Holly tree, reduced plenty for sure. Has anyone else done one, how did it react to it, and was it worth the effort?

 

Ive felled a couple and crosscut for chipper that was bad enough,variagated if memory serves.Can u subbie the job out to someone else?

Not done one in thirty years and can't see any real reason (apart from money) to do one.:biggrin:
