Just a quick tip for anyone using the Cordless hedge-cutters, if the machine suddenly stops and flashes 3 red lights on battery then there is a foreign object in the gears .Flushed mine out tonight and re- greased with white grease and hey presto , long reach hedge cutters just 13 months old .

Ps don't over grease! !!

Any-one used the French make Pellenc?

A back pack battery and hedgecutter sell here for around 2200euros inc. vat.

Will be trialing one soon for a few days.

The gardener where I was working today came out with out of these. It looked pretty good from what I could tell. He certainly seemed to like it. Very light with the backpack battery.

Gave me Cordless Hedgecutter a service tonight and I am amazed how this thing carries on with the amount of crap inside , strange design but it works relentlessly!

Used a airline to clean out and re greased with White grease, coming up to to 2 years old .
