Its because your not in overdraft that their taking it off you. I would see if you can go up the chain and speak to someone with authority.

 

Tried that on Friday.....

Never known anything like it..

 

You call the helpline and they say they won't change thier decision so if I want to appeal it I have to write to them and they ''will do thier best'' to deal with my enquiry within 30 days!!

 

So I asked to be put through to the business management team, spoke to them and said to them that if they couldn't or wouldn't change it or increase it at the very least then I would close my account...

 

The cheeky sod on the end of the phone said close your account then

Mr. O'Brien and then HUNG UP on me!!!!!!!!!

I'm with Lloyds TSB. bunch of wankers. I got my charges back by threatening to shoot my 'relationship' manager, his family, his friends, their freinds and family, and burn down the bank, their houses, and anybody remotely connected.

just for that i would take my business elsewhere. Barclay's are reasonable but i have had the same experience as Eastwater, over drawn by a couple of pounds and got stung for 25 notes :sneaky2:
