so you telling me with a large branch with a lot of weight on it..you are going to put a deep under cut in?! don't you think you will get your saw jammed.? doh!

very good video..but all I am saying is i would have put a mouth in those big bits or took a bit of weight off the ends.

I am sure there are lots of mistakes i make when climbing..and i don' t mind if i get told i am doing something wrong / better way to do it as it makes you a safer better climber.

Even putting a mouth in you can get your saw stuck in the kerf.

I thought Toms cuts were good i wouldn't of bothered putting a mouth in on those heavy bits if i could get away with it less cutting that way, and the fewer cuts you can make with a big saw the better imo.

The only criticism i could see is poor or lazy grip on the saw what ever way you want to look at it. Other than that nice job.

Good Vid Tom, thanks for taking the time to share it with us. I’m thinking of taking the plunge and getting a cam also. Don’t think we’ve had many take-downs filmed from a MEWP yet! lol.

One thing – I make my guys wear their hi-vis while I’m up in the tree, they stick-out like sore thumbs then – always good to know where they are. :001_smile:
