Has anyone else had a renewal through from any of their companies theydeal with?

 

I have pli , el, and plant ins. 5yrs no claims with the company and its gone up £220.00 extra for the year!

Is it due to an increase in turnover? My insurance cost is a reflection on turnover. The more you work, the more you earn, the higher the risk of an accident. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if they're just increasing the cost because they can😏.

I suspect insurance companies increase costs annually with some belief that a sufficient number will just pay it. Those they lose will be covered by the higher premiums of those they keep and they are insuring less people, therefore lower risk of actually paying out.

Conversely I know that sometimes they come into a new market (to themselves) and go in fairly cheap to test the market.
