Are you going to rear and look after him? Duck will be grateful and make good friend.

 

I shall see if my mate wants him , he keeps a few fowl and really needs water.

Mind you I could put him on the little lake we have ,he should be safe on there and there is plenty of grub.

That's how I thought he got here.

Bit the bird is spotless.

He **** on my hand , as usual for ducks and looks like he has been eating pond weed .

Going by that and his good size ,I am going to release him on the 16 foot drain , which has a good population of them .

Any sign of injury ? Could have been picked up by Buzzard or similar and dropped for some reason .

 

Narrowly missed a buzzard in the wife new car this morning....

 

He was swooping down from a roadside tree, tree lined both sides so creating a tunnel.

 

Wingspan was almost the width of the car! He must have been inches from the roof as he fired up the afterburners and I slowed as fast as I could....

 

A few choice words!!
