Not yet Mark, but I would love to.
My wife has been on several occasions.

You should mate, it's an eye opener.  I first went to Israel aged around seventeen as I had a Jewish lass.  At the time the most mental things I saw were Orthodox Jews torching advertising billboards that had the temerity to post pictures up of scantily clad women.  In more recent times, I've been over to run a marathon for MAP.  Like anyone else, I have my reasons to feel the way I do. You seem like a good bloke, find out for yourself what's going on.

Have you ever been to Palestine Timon?

This makes interesting reading. Particularly the accounts from the Palestinians themselves.

Like you, Mark, I also hate to see innocent people suffer.

You can’t blame everything on Israel. (And expect to be taken seriously)

Shalom.

Just tell the IDF that you're there to visit the birthplace of Christ, and you're golden.

I don’t love or condone everything Israel does, but I certainly believe in the right for Jewish people to have their own homeland where they belong. They have suffered a lot more throughout history than the Arabs have. The Arabs have plenty of land, why aren’t they helping the Palestinians.

Being Palestinian in the ME must be crap, but not as tough as it is for Christians.

Aye, religious persecution is rife everywhere.

I only mentioned the IDF as that's what I did to get access to the occupied territory.

Yeah, if it wasn’t for religion we would all be living in peaceful advanced technological bliss like in Star Trekemoji8.png

Except for the Borg.

Nice place you got there....

Thanks Timon. I am blessed to have lived most of my life in the Redwoods of NorCal.  A special place, no doubt.

I very rarely venture more than 15 minutes from my home these days, and have more work than I can handle.
