Like Bank Holidays don't cost nothing!

Yep, they cost some businesses a fortune. They also make other businesses a fortune. Which is more beneficial to the nation?

And it will cover the entire uk.......cunning ploy to get Scotland and Wales to support an England win? ?

I'm guessing it's more about winning votes than winning the World Cup.

Re invisible tape measures, I "blagged" 10 or 12 one year at a building trades exhibition, from the "Soaks" stand,

I am lucky to find one of them, and then only accidentally when looking for sommat else.

However, despite the apparent US fascination(based on my Imgur viewings) with never-to-be-found 10mm sockets, I have never, ever lost or misplaced my 10mm socket.

Re the extra Bank Holiday, how about we get one if JC ever wins a general election, or is that less likely  .  .  .

He's got about as much chance as Theresa May of winning a general election, imo.

Ouch!

now that was low,

true, but low nonetheless!

Anyway the way TM has shilly-shallyd about with the Brexit negotiations, good riddance.

JRM is the only true Conservative leadership candidate.

Leave it Mull.......

We’ll be (that’s the “royal” we (public sector)) on a 3 day week if Comrade Corbin and his merry band of lunatics ever manage to get into government!

There's no Ouch about it Marcus. You, like others should look from both sides before you speak, whether that be politics or anything else. Given your Presbyterian upbringing you should know better.

Enough of that chopper! I am actually working tomorrow (morning any way!)

It is GENUINELY one of the funniest scenarios I’ve ever encountered!! Detail to follow....

It's the hypocrisy that boils it. "I'll work three days a week because it suits me", as for you lot, you should be pulling your bollox out 7 days a week.

Are you off on a wild one there Mr ??

Anyone should be at liberty to work as many or as few days as suits them. No probs with that.

Its the getting paid for not working that is difficult to swallow. If I don’t work I don’t earn. F*cked if I’m going pay someone else not to work!
