Nah, you missed the point again Bud.

I'm just amused that he also claims to be a "man of the people", but clearly has no empathy for normal hard working people either. Deja Vu.

I'm not at all jealous of anyone who earns a few quid ND. I value free time over money, it's all about quality of life for me. As long as I've got enough quids for everything I need and most stuff I want that'll do me.

(Wrt Employment StatusGate - My main motivation for being self-employed was more free time. I miss that now that I'm employed, I'd happily take a paycut to do a 4 day week if it was permitted)

I didn’t ask you about your employment status. Yeah apparently I missed the point again 🤷‍♂️SP has already said.

Suspect we were both typing at the time. It happens. Something to consider for the future.

I care not in the slightest. Seeing as you are replying what’s your employment status ?? I don’t understand why you are so reticent to reply to a very simple question.

My employment? mostly an irrelevance to "making the news today" - it might be if it was a new job today - by it isn't. A weird obsession but lets go with it.

Today, Thursday, I'll be 'Pearl, the Cabaret Singer" in my local - didn't want to say since it is likely to trigger 30% of your prejudices, especially when you realise I wasn't born in this country.

Like I have said previously you are incapable of giving a straight answer and just throw out BS. I’ve asked you over numerous threads and you’ve avoided answering every time 🤷‍♂️so be it it SP. I guess whichever environment you are in this crap is how you operate. As for prejudice once again full of shit big time. I’ve kids who are dual nationality not being born here, I work a lot of the time with multi national teams of all races. It’s all ground that’s been gone over many many times before as well you know.
Why not just make it easy and don’t reply of ignore my posts.

'Don't reply or ignore'... don't know if you noticed that 'employment' is an irrelevance, I was ignoring but you have an obsession so I gave you an answer. You are never happy. Tomorrow by the way I'll be Scotlands leading manufacturer of prosthetics to explain away my interest in wood, we all like a bit of wood. Keep talking bollocks, and that is what you'll get back.

Obsession 😂I knew you’d not be able to let it go. How is it bollocks to ask a simple question. People’s employment status is often a driver of how they see things ie lockdown for example or political decisions. I’ve been receiving utter shite for months from you often when questions you can’t answer are asked so nothing new in any of that.

Weirdly I would dispute that, take the retired, their current employment state is the same as a 16 year old (unemployed) school leaver but according to the statistics would be at opposing ends of the political spectrum. From the little you said about your work, take a 16 year old army cadet, freshly signed up (with parents approval of course) - very different political outlook to a General but the same jobs and career path.

I would be much more inclined to believe that parenting and social factors are a much more important factor to your political and life views. It might be that your parents (as an example) influence your outlook on life and with their influence that guides you to any career path you take. Age is another factor, as you age your political outlook veers more to the right, Conservatism (you have more to loose as you get older), younger people are more keen on social justice (less to loose, no mortgage (especially now), lower earnings and a parent safety net).

So reiterating, current, past or future employment in an irrelevance to this part of this thread.

I've decided what job to do on Monday by the way - if you are still obsessed by then I'll let you know.

It has to be mentioned that this tradition of veering right as you accrue both wealth and years seems to be lacking in popularity in recent generations... because people seem to collecting only the latter, and not quite so much of the former.
