Making the news today....

So to sum up the last two days:

Islamist terrorist attacks concert that a lot of children are attending. 22 dead.

There has been no widespread condemnation of this terrorist attack by "mainstream Muslims". If "mainstream Muslims" were as peace loving as we were told they'd have held a march to condemn the terrorist.

PS since the terrorist managed to walk into the foyer with the bomb it's likely to have been a military grade explosive. It's likely IS have a skilled bomb maker with military explosives in the UK.

You only have to look at advancement and sympathy towards the Palestinian "cause" at the UN and among the left wing, which has been won expressly through the very same means that we are now experiencing in this country. to reach the sad conclusion that terrorism does win and it is not going away any time soon

Yes it IS Katie Hopkins.

Do you believe that Hopkins' "Final solution" is the path down which things should go?

It's a shame that our government is a shambles because they're the ones who are going to have to work out a way out of this situation.

It's a sorry state of affairs.

It's a bit different in Palestine, seeing as the Palestinians didn't actually emigrate there. Also, there have been definite war crimes on both sides, so no one can rightly claim the moral high ground in my opinion.

I don't care where in the world they live, people have to stop killing children in the name of whatever cause they might have. I'm canny narked with humanity at the moment.

Sorry Mark, I'm not sure what you're asking there? I re-read the article and couldn't find a reference to a "final solution." Is it something she has said previously or have I missed something??

The government thing....

Well, it's obvious there isn't a silver bullet solution. I don't think we can blame or congratulate Labour or the Tories for where we are. We are where we are (maybe you could blame Blair for Iraq mind) but I'm more interested in stopping or slowing the continued decline and, to me, that is as obvious and easy as taking direct control over immigration. To do otherwise is to import further problems. It doesn't fix the 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation "home grown" issue but that is much harder. In the meantime (Jeremy) let's NOT make matters worse!

Does anyone else think that is the Police hadn't been subjected to so many cuts in order to bail out bankers, terrorist attacks like these would be less likely? More police on the beat has been proven to be a massive deterrent.

The point I was making is that every Muslim faction has seen how the Palestinians have gained acceptance and credibility through violence and murder and drawn the conclusion that violence (or Jihad, to use their own terminology) is the way forward.

I agree, this world is a mess.

Yes she, tweeted about it being time for a "Final Solution". It was redacted and retweeted as a "Sure solution". I don't believe she didn't know the difference. I do believe you may not have seen it though.

When they say that The bomber was known to security services, then why wasn't he subject to a more thorough investigation? Especially if, as reported, he'd recently returned from Libya.

The current gov aren't about to make funds for these investigations to take place. When you say "taking direct control over immigration" what do you actually mean?

They interviewed a security expert on Radio 4 earlier who stated that the troops on the streets will be under Police control, thus freeing up armed police for deployment elsewhere. Interviewer then asks ''so this is because of a short fall in police officers?'' His answer - ''Yes''.

Troops on the street is not because the threat level has been raised to critical but because the then Home Secretary, the PM who now wants your vote, has cut police numbers to a level that puts the people she wants to vote for her in danger. Strong and Stable ? ...:001_rolleyes:
