Perhaps you'll also revel in the fact that every second of her jail she'll be on high alert as inmates don't tend to like baby killers.

I’ll certainly revel in the fact she might well have a hard time in jail. I’d sooner see her properly pay for her crime though. As you yourself said, if someone touches your family you’d kill them. 
 

I guess a lot of our colloquialisms are religious based. I’ll assume you celebrate Christmas, does that make you a Christian?

Are you saying that if you celebrate a Christian holiday it does not make you a Christian, nor do you need to be a Christian to celebrate it?
