The Spectator have today published a new article stating that the Venezuela action is nothing to do with oil.  The writer said it is all about keeping China at bay.  I will try and post the link later when I get the chance.  I have no view one way or another, but the guy seemed to know his stuff.

The yanks said it was about drugs initially. Hence the 'drug boats' getting obliterated and the charges about Maduro. Now they're openly admitting they are going to extract their oil.

The owner of The Spectator is also the co-owner of loss leading GB News,  so you might, or might not want to take what they say with a pinch of salt.

Taking out the drugs boats was provocation, try to get Venezuela to act - Maduro didn't bite - so they want in anyway.

Trump is shying away from squaring up to Russia or China - look to the Ukraine and Taiwan for how he is with them. It is all about the oil.

Careful Mark you will be accused of having far right racist leanings if you are inclined to honest and realistic about certain things.

Im no maths wiz but 25 years spread around in May 24 🤔🤔🤔 and most of them are now out, something doesn’t add up. I smell the stench of leftard human rights fools.

Canada has significant oil reserves, perhaps they'll become the 52nd State (Venezuela claimed 51st).

Perhaps it has been agreed that Trump will have all of America, Putin gets as much of Ukraine and Europe as he wants, and China takes the rest.

Except for Airstrip 1.
