Just thinking about this "right to work" ID cards which every employer will have to record when the calculate their workers taxable income and availability to work.......

Back when I was a youth, I got given a unique number which the state used to identify me, my address, age, tax status etc. This, I believe, is still needed for employment and is called a National Insurance Number.

Let's just say, "if ain't got one, you cannot get a job, benefits, NHS services and can deported that afternoon along with any dependants no matter where they where born! Would that work? Or are we better off waiting for these cards to be issued within the next 5 years?

So all of us who live here legally already with NI numbers and multiple forms of Verifiable ID, being mandated to carry digital identification will stop those crossing the channel “illegally”   🤔🤔

Care to explain how you see this actually working.

Just to avoid any confusion and to show the content of the whole post not a selectively edited portion, the above is what I actually posted. The context of which is very very different to the edited version posted by a particularly weak shit stirring anonymous individual.

I am not talking about fantasy newspaper headlines and their bullshit predictions.

I am talking about actual behaviour, banning your best friends from family BBQ’s because they didn’t have the jab, and such like.

The Government cancelling Christmas with a few days notice, whilst partying behind closed doors, and people going along with it.

I have lost all faith in people making a stand in the UK.

Ok, you were talking about track and trace hence my response in regards to it.

As mentioned by others a cashless society is more of a concern IMO. Your bank gets hacked, your card won't work and your screwed. I always use cash where possible, especially for small business like the corner shop but when doing the big shop it's easier to use a card than carry £200 about, especially since there are less and less ATMs about.

I was reading something the other day about all the cyber attacks and that AI makes it far easier for the hackers. Big corps targeted atm like JLR, airports etc but it might not be long before they can and will attack everyone and anyone.

Something thats been on my mind…

That ad for Nationwide, where the rich banker takes a call from his spoilt little bitch of a daughter in Antibes asking for money to fly home..

Then the Romesh Ranganathan lookalike tells him it’s not a scam etc.

The last ad in the séries showed her gloating about her mother (his ex wife) getting reamed out by her yoga teacher, basically calling her real dad (and his employer) breadheads, you know the one.

Anyway, let the ungrateful bitch hitch home, or pick grapes to earn enough for a coach back across the Channel.

For those whom seem to think this is somehow ok. The first version and its powers will never be enough.
