Good to see UK taxes are being put to good use. I’m sure the 3 of my kids who went to uni and incurred huge fees would have loved to have been given a fully funded position.

Curiosity and the fact my best mate is an ex Stoker who cross branched to become a clearance diver, current project I’m on has 5 ex CDs also when I started diving I was up at Swan Hunters on many occasions doing work on a number of Royal Navy, RFA and BAS vessels, in particular post launch surveys.

They could have gone to university in Scotland, where you live, where there are no fees. Plus, you can probably afford to cover their university fees until they start earning money. Unless you think it should be up to the state to provide degree level education to those who are suited to it?

I have seen loads of doctors from all parts of the world, and their unifying factor is that they want to help you get better.

NHS is in a bad way, more doctors get a thumbs up from me.
