How hard is it to fact check

something before posting? This snippet has been clipped from a debate he was having about affirmative action - in short he just hopes the pilots qualified and hasn’t been given the job based on his colour. Context is everything but at least we now know you probably blindly peddle drivel daily.

oh ok - so according to the late great tiktok star - we should be worried blacks in responsible positions (like pilots) aren't just there as a diversity hire

It's interesting to read how the same rules don't apply to both sides (in the view of the current administration), with regards to the appropriate responses in the wake of "political violence".

"Trump responded by making repeated jokes at Paul Pelosi’s expense."

and how despite Trump's obsession with "radical left violence":

"all extremist-related killings in the US in 2024 were connected to rightwing extremism, just as they were in 2023 and in 2022"

In their humane responses to the killing of Charlie Kirk, Democrats are observing the old norms. Things are different...

If ANTIFA and BLM are taken into account,I would say the majority of political violence comes from the left.

No obviously not, I don't think bringing back slavery has ever been suggested or condoned.

It is however, what built the finances of the US though.

See a lot of time "what made us great" is seen through rose tinted glasses rather than what actually happened, romanticised to take away the blood sweat and tears, and most often blood.

So if you are hankering after a past where the US was making bucket loads of cash, you need to go back to how they were making it too.

Well it has standards, which have made it what it is, so hence it sticks to.  Who did he have to blame for that?

Yes Kirk was very aligned with Christians, (I think he said himself that colour doesn't come into it though).  America through being a Christian country quickly became the greatest country in the world, Trump is 'making America great again' by bringing it back to the values which made it great in the first place, which they'd got away from during Biden presidency.  Popular? No not always.   Best for America? Yes it seems so, which is his job as president.

In your opinion which values are missing nowadays which need to be brought back to make America great again?

Which values did biden destroy in his 4 years that were there previously under trump's administration?

They've become the biggest economy in the world since slavery was abolished so don't think that's entirely true.

It's not making America great if athiests are thought of as having less to offer than Christians

No I don't think so, but any atheists I've ever spoken to have been quite quick to tell me they don't believe anything and don't go by any principles.  There may be some atheists in the American government I wouldn't know, but a country doesn't became what America has on no principles does it.

Going back to the original topic, you can't deny Kirk had very strong principles, he was so definite in what he believed in and was very happy to discuss why he had that view and what backed it up, which I think is what has made America such a strong economy.
