I shall use the democratic process available to me when the time comes. That’s how it goes as far as I’m aware. I can vote to change things in the UK, I have zero capacity to change things in the USA. 

Fair enough. Just because we have zero capacity to change things in other countries shouldn't stop us from having opinions on how that country is run though, especially when it can have a direct impact on us.
