Btw, do you not realise how that is totally irrelevant that is?

If I asked my neighbour would he be OK to dangle 60 feet up in a tree and take 5 mins to reflect on things, have a smoke break, plan his next move, or just to do fck all for a bit and he said anyone who does that is a bloody fool, would his opinion even matter? Of course it wouldnt and I would be a bit of a prick to think that it did.

Common sense is common sense although not so much nowadays it would seem. What’s irrelevant about pointing out the stupidity of where he set up to pray 🤷‍♂️

Here you are late on a sat night still picking away at it. The guy was a bloody fool and more than likely judging by the state of the garage in the pics and the multitude of directors in and out I’d imagine training and health and safety are not high priorities.
OK yes or no was it a good place to pray ??

as an old bastard of 72 I cannot image a life ending so tragically abruptly.

I recal an incident a few years ago whereby a group of children were under the supervision of a teacher or leader of some sort who told them to pitch tents under a large and obvious to anyone with knowledge of unstable trees, with no apparent warning, no winds, or rain, that tree fractured and with devastating results, a loss of life of a young person who to quote Neil Young,

That's one more kid, that'll never go to school
Never get to fall in love, never get to be cool"

I felled an awful lot of trees after that tragic event around the area.

maybe I and others like me contributed to saving a few from a similar fate.

Indeed.

I've read that a couple of times, but I feel like I've missed a word or two somewhere. (Though it's been a hot day and the Budvars are beautifully cold this evening).

What were the obvious signs of impending fracture?

there were I was led to believe several concerns about the condition of the tree, that were either ignored or dismissed I was not personally involved with that individual tree, but in the period after the death and injuries caused by it the other surrounding woodland owners who opened to the public including my own place of residence took steps to avoid a repeat of it .

there was an active court case that went on for years trying to apportion blame for the accident but the organisation was cleared of blame, many people around here, many of whom knew of the warnings that were not adhered to, but their opinions were not sought.

I heard at one stage an attempt to hold the teacher/person in charge was even leveled, but dismissed.

the tree I'm referring to was a large  beech, the part that hit the children was over or around 70 feet.

this was not the recent incident.

May be an image of text that says "@Glasgalf BBC not broadcasting Kncp P4Y2 หมขหวัด people chant One seeing Bob million Vylan to the " Death Death on t IDF" live"

With the shit we see from Starmer he could go down for it, if you can get locked up for a nasty post then he’s done for, unless the two tier rule kicks in.

The two tier thing is dog whistle for the hard of thinking to get riled up by. Nothing more or less.

A British government minister said it was appalling that the anti-Israel chants had been made at Glastonbury, and that the festival's organisers and the BBC broadcaster - which is showing the event - had questions to answer.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting said he was also appalled by violence committed by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.
"I'd also say to the Israeli Embassy, get your own house in order in terms of the conduct of your own citizens and the settlers in the West Bank," Streeting told Sky News.
"I wish they'd take the violence of their own citizens towards Palestinians more seriously," he said.

Your opinion Mark

facts would suggest otherwise. The arrogance of the left on display again. Starmer and “ the hard of thinking “ type of comments are Reforms best recruitment tool.
