I blame the HSE. If it weren't for the mention of prayer, the story would never have made it onto this site.

The reality of it is it’s a bloody stupid place to set up a mat and start praying ( certainly didn’t do him any good) HSE trying to look all diverse and multicultural nothing more.

Rape and murder are horrific crimes regardless of who committed them. Not sure why you want to point out the “ white and soldiers part” a similar case in Cyprus years ago was dealt with properly. Often as not drinking plays a big part in such thankfully rare cases.
