No maybe’s about it im afraid. The only states that are quiet are those that were/are run by the absolute dictatorships. 
How did interference in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan go.

We're never going to see eye to eye on this one. 

There is little that you could say, or anything that I could say that will sway each other's opinion. Which is a shame.

None of my business in reality Mark. I’ve spent enough time working in the Arab states to know it’s far better if we just keep out of it. I have  zero desire to change your opinion.

Interesting - I have had to read up on this period, and it is crucial to understanding how things got where they are today.

The Israelis were apparently themselves terrorists back then (British Army Museum says so) and Israeli terrorist attacks on the Brits in Palestine eventually led to the Brits withdrawing

Terrorism

The main terrorist groups were Irgun Zvai Leumi (National Military Organisation) - ultimately led by future Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin - and an even more militant organisation, Lohamey Heruth Israel (Fighters for the Freedom of Israel) or LHI.

The British called LHI the Stern Gang after its leader, Abraham Stern, who was killed in a clash with the Palestine Police in 1942. In November 1944, LHI assassinated the British Minister for the Middle East, Lord Moyne.
