As January marks five years on from Britain leaving the EU, Alicja Hagopian and Kate Devlin explore its impact

Don’t believe everything you read in the papers Mark 😂😂😂😂😂 personally speaking it’s worked for me and I’d vote to leave again tomorrow if the referendum was rerun.

Jokes  aside I see Farages stand on Tommy Robinson might just have cost him a few quid off Elon.

Musk seems to be going full on Hitler. His spacesuits have jackboots. SpaceX launches first Saudi astronauts on private flight to space station

Brexit might have worked for you in your industry, but for many who don't have specialised income streams it has been a right pain in the arse. There are in general few noticeable benefits of Brexit.  They clearly didn't take back control of our borders, £350mil a week to the NHS etc.

Please feel free to let me know how the general population has actually benefited from the UK leaving the EU.

I can’t speak for others Mark and wouldn’t try to, my income streams come from hard work and sacrifice over the years. They ain’t that specialised, anyone can do it if they want to. EU is no friend of the working man mark, more a corporate employment agency is my own view.

I know you don’t Mark, it wasn’t a serious comment.

I'd also add believe nothing from Linked in, Facebook or Twatter. Be sceptical about anything from a politician, and always ask where the money is coming from and going to who.

I was joking with Mark, but yes you can’t  go far wrong if you follow the money, pretty sure I used that phrase repeatedly about a  flu  outbreak a  few year back 🤔
