Couple of points you missed again here.

I wasn't suggesting that everyone should be hunters, yours is not the only way.

Meat is not the only food source. This discussion started with neonicotinoids and Sugar Beat, if you recall.

Irrespective of who does the actual shooting, commercial or private, there ought to be a nationwide program of deer culling to get all that wild meat off the land, where it's wreaking havoc, and onto the supermarket shelves. Much better for all and everything concerned if that was the meat component of our food landscape, rather than intensively reared livestock. What do you think?

I think that is a great idea. Sadly there are three things that prevent this gaining traction.

1) The general public and their love of Bambi.

2) The government dosnt support the private ownership of firearms.

3) Stalkers themselves who won't support new people incase they themselves loose stalking grounds.

Possibly a fouth with Private land owners not allowing the public or persons unknown onto their land. You have to hit everywhere or sanctuaries are created that hold animals.  I used to cull in forests back home and the best approach is constant even pressure.  Although the general public could shoot the forests, then generally only went after the easy animals, but at least it kept them off the roads.

Don't underestimate the power of death.

Well done for remembering not to put the triple ellipsis on after.

No one will suspect this time!

President Donald Trump pardoned his former chief strategist Steve Bannon in a last-minute decision made only hours before he is scheduled to depart the White House for a final time.

They're rotten to the core.

Did he murder anyone Mark ?

Probably not personally. His ideological bile is almost certainly responsible for people's deaths

You really can't admit that your political allegiance might the same, or worse, than any of the other options.

Carry on with the blinkers on, Dave.

Mark I’ve been saying for a long time they are all as bad as each other. No blinkers here bud, you attacked the previous government relentlessly and held labour up as the ones who were gonna sort everything. Unfortunately that’s blatantly not happening. I never mentioned political allegiance did I ?, it was about pardons etc

just remind everyone what trump pardoned him for ??
Have you actually took any notice of what crimes some of the Biden pardon criminals committed??, makes contempt seem a bit tame I can assure you. Especially when you see some of the stuff about Jan 6th surfacing.
