Did you used to come on here masquerading as a consultant by any chance !!!. 
An increase in wages as mentioned above and a proven return to training our own young people rather than a ready supply of cheap foreign Labour. 
I worked with many polish and other Eastern European guys over the past 10 or so years on vessel mobs/demobs and funnily enough they bemoaned the whole system and blamed it for the decline of their own home industries, the polish guys in particular many of whom came from soviet era state owned and supported trade schools looked upon the system as one of exploiting rather than nurturing skills etc.
