I wonder what the military one costs ???

I think Scotts just as quick if not quicker SRT

and he get an aerobic workout as well:biggrin:

Haha.

That's cool and all, if you like carrying around oodles of gear to setup the SRT rig. Not to mention your energy of the ascent. A lot of people like that, like those who hang every strap and biner they own off the back of their saddle.

Paul's rig is self contained, grab it, a length of rope, and a throw line, and your off. The only thing I can say is, your finger might get soar from holding the throttle. Oh wait, that doesn't happen either.

The military one costs about $25,000 US, Paul's is at around 10% of that.

I wish people would really wrap their heads around Paul's new invention. I really wish him luck as it's such a great product.

Some people just like working harder, in a job that's already physically straining.

Bump this old thread for some eye candy!!

Paul finally got his promo video up for this slick new powered ascender. While I had already decided to purchase one...had there been any doubt, that would have quickly evaporated upon viewing this vertical dance!! The tall blonde is his wife.......
