Try googling vacuum kiln. Den Socling makes them in the states although a couple of blokes made one down south (Englandshire). Very technical and expensive, but its the fastest method of drying wood for furniture etc. Wouldn't be used for firewood purposes

We ran one for three years here. A cabinet maker owned and operated it. It was great for some things, but a pain in the arse for most. Had the capacity to massively bugger up timber.

Sounds like you want something like the old Arrowsmith kiln. Not seen them lately but might be worth a google.

Just had a look myself and came across one by Logosol Wood Kiln - Logosol

This is the same one as mine. Logosol arent the maker though, they are just selling it.

I missed out on an arrowsmith a few years ago and I keep kicking myself about it. But something along those lines would be perfect

I have made a temporary kiln for drying a few bits out of insulation sheets i had spare. I put a fan heater and a dehumidifier in as I wanted to dry as quick as possible. I want the wood to split and crack. Also the dehumidifier was icing up before I added the heater, hope this helps. Blaisey
