C1 has good public reputation , odd chap to deal with, if he starts an argument about something even if you know your right and he is wrong half way through you start questioning yourself if you are actually right ? hard to describe it is just something about the way he twists everything around ..

if your winning the argument he will just turn his back and tell you you know nothing which kind of leaves you deflated just the way he does it makes you feel you lost !

Pfffttt... I would just turn him over. By order of the peaky fockin blinders 😂

Why would anyone believe that anyone would cut down their trees for free?

Did C3 agree a price with C1?

Did C1 explain to C3 that HE (C1) decided to do it for free? If so what was his explanation for not paying C3?

I think Huck put it better than me. "I don't believe the story as told"

C2 quoted £450 , i have no idea of C1 original quote , C3 has only told me that C1 was going to pay him £200 cash when he was paid for the work but the client has refused to pay , i told him to ask the Landowner for the £200 as he is getting the job done for less than half of C2 quote so he should be happy , this is when the **** hit the fan as the land owner has informed him C1 has done the job for free and by the way who are you ?

C1 is apparently sticking to his guns and claiming he has not been paid !

Think i have seen it all now !

Local self proclaimed " Tree Surgeon " quotes for tree removal and as per never turns up to do the job , Land owner gets a new quote from 2nd contractor and job is to be done this week coming , the first contractor is told his services are not required .

First contractor hires in a third contractor to remove the trees without consent , Land owner comes home and trees are gone .

First contractor contacts Land owner " i have done the job for free " .

So as it stands now the first contractor is refusing to pay the third contractor as he claims not to have been paid for the work by the Land owner .

Beyond me ?

I apologise in advance after a BBQ that involved several cans, a bottle of port and a small accidental (not really) fire, but what has cuntractor 1 got to gain out of this?

I'm obviously missing something?

He gains contractor 2 not getting a job and contractor 3 not getting paid for a job!

I know it's hard to understand Mark, but some people get pleasure out of that! And that seems to be enough for them.

Nowt as queer as folk!

As they say further south than here.
