12v Air Compressor - well impressed.

Recommended Posts

Kinda defeats the point I think; mains ones are available everywhere; Machine-Mart eat your heart out.

I needed genuine portable without the bagage. Nearly went pto but then the tractor would have to go everywhere I needed air!

I know what your saying, but something that small yet powerful, could be ideal for a small air pin gun.

Had a look on web but couldnt find one.

Still a decent bit of kit tho.:001_smile:

Ah now funnily enough, Lidl had one of their parkside briefcase compressors last week; big output and mains powered and small briefcase sized...

Thats excellent value for money TCD, I have been looking at these BOSS PX07 Air Compressor 12V and 24V 3/4 HP 100% Duty Cycle totally rebuildable | eBay because of the 100% run time but that one of yours ticks as many boxes for less than half the money.

Until then my trusty old adapted Monroe suspension compressor will have to do :thumbup1:

These are great but there is a common issue which might catch you out when you really need it (I speak of experience!).... If you use it heavily to pump say 4 big off road tyres without letting it cool In between it will pop the curly plastic air tube as it gets very hot by the first connector then plastic curly tube blows a nice neat hole in it right by the connector, it's an easy fix, just cut it out and reconnect but a pain if you need it..!

It's the only common gripe with these.

Not sure if they have upgraded this curly as mine is over 2 years old! So you may be ok.

You're right about the heat. I will likely replace the curly as and when with a Hydroscand offering...
