And the others in the car, there were 4 apparently, can't imagine they walked away..

 

Just because tractors are capable of towing diggers along doesn't mean they should. I see loads round here.... There will definitely be a crackdown now. Thats how H&S law works here, its reactive. Guy parks his discovery and trailer on a railway, we all have to get tacho's. etc.

Looking at pictures digger did not come off trailer, and we do not know if driver was fit to drive or something happened to him will driving. And the press balls up on what happened as they do.

 

Its already steeped in supposition Paul. I have looked at the various pictures/vids posted up on huge tube and the like, it would appear the road is actually quite a long steep hill. Pure speculation would say he is overweight , going too fast down hill , defective brakes or none at all on the trailer and its all gone very wrong. For sure vosa will be over this like a bag of fleas and for the drivers sake I hope that the journey and load is for ag or forestry purposes.

 

RIP the poor chap in the car.
