It's hard to have a favourite because it should be my ms200t, that's the saw that earns me the most money.

If I had to choose an overall favourite it would be my Husky 371xp, the sound it makes and the raw power always makes me smile, it never goes wrong runs all day long and is 18 years old.

husky 340, bought it new in 1999, never let me down, originally bought for fencing work,ie ending rails, pointing posts etc , but that saw has cut many tons of firewood, felled and processed, ended and scarfed rails, pointed posts and anything else ive needed it to, goes pretty much everywhere with me, cracking little 40cc saw

Have to agree with you for a little odd job saw the 340 is exellent ,I've had mine a long time the only problem is that I have just broken the side casing with the starter cord drum in it .Don't suppose you know if you can still get spares ?.

I don't know how people get on with such short bars, got a 15 on mine and that's a tad too short as means bit too much bending to make cuts for comfort! 16 minimum on ground saws for me

I do mainly felling so it's a bit different. You've got to get down to the ground to fell it so bar length is a little irrelevant. If you set up a good bench then that brings it up to a nice working height.

When it's down on the floor the bar can be a little short my back is telling me a 560 with an 18" maybe a worth while investment.

460 for me, although I now have a 461 which seems an even better saw still. Its just a great saw, the balance on it feels great for aerial work, as well as the lower end grunt it has. Wouldn't use anything else in that size range.

The downfall of the 461 is it cuts too fast, just as you're having fun with it there's nothing left to cut!
