there crap.... stick to Oregon and Stihl !!

Bit harsh.

Have used them a lot over the past few weeks on various saws. No they are not as good as Stihl but I wouldn't describe them as crap by any means.

Does the old saying buy cheap buy twice come into play here? IMO no, for what they are and the price they represent value for money. If you want the utmost performance you can get then stick with Stihl, but for the money these are good chains and many people probably wouldn't notice the difference.

Nice one Steve, That's good to know. I'm trying to cut back on expenditure this year as last year was hefty. I'll give them a whirl. Thanks

I've had one on my 200t for about a month now used it on the ground a bit, caught a few stones and a bit of wire sharpened it as normal teeth are about halfway down now and it's still cutting nicely. I don't think they are bad at all

Confession. :blushing:

I have got chain making kit and usually only buy Oregon, not because its any good but thats all Honeybros keep in stock. I had to get a load of our medium sized saws ready for a job that was running for a month solid , after getting the saws sorted I had my couldn`t be arsed on head on so bought a pile of pattern bars and a few dozen ready made cheapy chains off ebay to suit rather than make them up. The surprise is the lads could not tell the difference and there were no breakages.:confused1:
