Have a look at this vid!

Tidy set up and certainly takes some of the strain out of milling!

This is at test stage really but he has a very large beech to do soon....

looks good from what i could see the back handle area of each saw seemed to be bouncing under load etc you would not get this is your hands where on it perhaps consider a small fabric strap etc to ease the stress etc just in a diagonal way if you get the drift

Cool set up but I also noticed the power head bouncing a bit and thought a strap of some sort would be a good idea , but appart from that , very cool I like it , someone please make me one of those remote control boxs

Cheers Mark

I don't think they are running flat out as he is clearly in the development stage. Mine runs twice the speed I would say, also he has mismatched saws which may affect things (I'm not sure).

If that's the speed of chainsaw mills, with two big saws running? Would drive me mad, just glad i went for a Peterson mill.

Yep chainsaw mills are always going to be slow - but they can do the wide stuff and are fully portable.

Also not everyone can afford a Peterson... A chainsaw mill and a swing mill can't really be compared as the costs are not in the same ball park.
