Yard ripped off

I'm surprised this is happening out there with you Ty

3 times now, we are roadside and apart from heavy gates and a strong room very little security (at the moment...) due to planning being stalled on our workshop renovation and extension.

CS gas alarm, cameras and hidden ones are all on the cards.

Circus is in town and since Xmas a group of 'punks' with dogs begging in town.

However, I've got my money on that old favourite, travellers.

Seb thinks he saw our one of our hedgecutters on LeBonCoin (Gumtree type site) being sold by a certain 'Lennie' which is a proper poikey name.

I for one would love to catch thieves in the act.

My desire involves stunning a thief, tying him up and taking him to the pig farm of Mr Le Gros up the road before acting out Bricktops script from Snatch (in French) to scare the living daylights out of the weasel.

I don't wish to screw up my life with a rash act but there again I don't think I'll be reported for kidnapping with threatening and abusive behaviour...

Ty

Good job we don't who you are. If your family was starving ste

al food not my livelihood.

Benefit cuts most likely have nothing to do with this or many kit thefts. Think it through.

Anyone tries to nick anything from my place and I catch them someone's going down big time, might be me but I'll be fighting as I go down.

Those who have been robbed have my best wishes. It would cripple my business and their my family. Sorry of living in a situation like Syria can't ever see a time I'd be stealing - I can't abide it.

I'm defo on the lefty side of the spectrum but thieving toe rags steal regardless of who is in power and what their policies might be, the people that do over yards are generally the type that do it for a living, people that have been shafted by the tories are more likely to nick a block of cheese from tesco

Try the 'bay' for saws, but.........

Try putting in a different postcode than your usual one....

(And I mean one that's at the other end of the country from you...)

Been watching eBay for while now, in case something I fancy crops up....

And there has been over the last week or so...

Loads and I mean loads of 'used' chainsaws up for sale, by people with 'strangely' 100% feedback....????

Spot on John, sums it up for me.

I've had more money's worth of gear stolen under labour so see no pattern in which governments in power at all.
