It's down to personal preference but I really don't get on with the husky, I find a lot of people jumped on the husky band wagon because they didn't like the original 201 and have had enough of sthil (that's the impression I get anyway).

I like the 201 but still prefer the 200, I found they lot a bit of guts when they lost the emissions. The husky probably has more torque but the whole saw feels like some fisher price toy to me, and I hate the balance of it.

But as said before they are both good saws it's just what you feel is best in your hand.

I got a 201 tcm 2 weeks ago, gutless compared to my 540t.

What? more gutless than the most gutless top handle I have ever used.

We have 3 '540's languishing in the back of the pickup, that never get used due to the '200t's that we keep up and running...... how bad must a 201 be!!

540, sad face.

200t, happy face.

I have 2 200t that I keep running but love the husky, my 201 won't cut at any where near bar lenth and bogs down v easily.

I have to admit to never using a 201.

I have used a 150t, that was ok (in a silky saw kindof way) but you do feel a little Emasculated .

I really wanted to like the 540 (after all, my employer provides them for free) but I just don't enjoy using them - maybe I have a lemon (oh wait, three lemons).

Anyway, I dug out the best of the knackered 200s that I amassed when I was self employed and rebuilt it to factory fresh..... oh happy days!

(The TR6 is growing on me though, well....just a little!)
