Are those boots chainsaw protection Rupe?

A friend had the Arbpro climbing boots, quick step or something. They lasted less than 6 months.

Yet I have had the Andrews Cervino chainsaw boots f over a year and they are great. Like Matty said, it will be interesting to see how they hold up.

been keeping an eye on this thread. Got my hands on a used RW which arrived yesterday....

quick climb up a smallish sycamore, thought it was great! getting back through natural re directs where the rope was at a fair angle from my initial anchor point was pretty difficult (where the limb used for the redirect is skinny enough to break)

generally loved it though, already easier than ddrt (spoken too soon i bet)

Im sure a big shot or being half decent with throw line would complement this system massively

out of interest, who uses a neck lanyard to advance the system when going up? i tried using my secondary line but found that putting weight on the foot loop caused the system to sit back a bit as it was biting, pulling the rope tight around my shoulder/neck.. on the other hand if i had the secondary line set more loosely it meant it wouldn't advance my system as much making the progress less efficient...
